  • Science: The University of Toronto's Ontario Institute for Cancer Research has an MD/PhD program with full funding available to students who receive an MD from another institution. Applicants must have an undergraduate degree in either cell or molecular biology or chemistry (minimum GPA 3) and a minimum MCAT score of 35%. If accepted into this 5 year program they will receive $25000 per annum during their first four years which increases to $35000 per annum during their fifth year as well as tuition fees paid by the Canadian government according to provincial residency status.

  • Arts: The University of Victoria offers three different types of scholarships including "general awards" which may include up to $15000 over three years while other awards may provide more money but only apply if certain criteria such as GPA requirements etc., are met; these include "Scholarships for Indigenous Students" worth up to $17500 annually plus tuition fees paid by the Canadian government according to provincial residency status; "Aboriginal Post-Secondary Education Improvement Program (APSEIP)" offers financial assistance totalling up $18500 per annum plus tuition fees paid by the Canadian government according to provincial residency status; finally there is also “International Student Support Fund” which provides up tp 2250$ per month for international students who demonstrate financial need
