Introduction


The University of Toronto is offering up to 80 scholarships to bright international students who have demonstrated academic excellence at the undergraduate level and who are interested in pursuing a full-time Master's or PhD program at U of T. A scholarship for a master degree will be CAD 17,500 , for a doctoral degree will be CAD 20,000 depending on the program. The online application is available from September 1st to December 15th, 2020 (open to all programs), February 1st to March 31st, 2021 (limited thesis-based programs), and January 7th until June 11th 2021 (professional degrees). All deadlines are at 11:59 PM EST. All successful candidates will receive their scholarship in September 2021.

All successful candidates will receive their scholarship in September 2021.


In September 2021, you'll receive your scholarship in Canadian dollars by cheque (if you're a student who's studying in Canada). You can also choose to have it paid to you by bank transfer or credit card.

The scholarship is for a Master’s degree program in the field of Computer Science and Engineering. The value of this award is CAD 17500 and will cover tuition fees, accommodation and living costs for one academic year.


Please note that the scholarship is awarded to students from non-residents countries (for example: Poland), who have not been studying at any Canadian university before or do not have Canadian citizenship. It means that you can apply only if you are currently living outside Canada (and your home country) but want to study in Canada now.
