Video: Gabriel Jesus Return to Full Training With His Team-mates Ahead Of Thursday Arsenal Clash With Sporting CP


Arsenal have handed significant boost after Gabriel Jesus made impressive return to full training session on Wednesday.

The Brazilian forward who joined the north London club from Manchester City last summer, sustained knee injury problem during the World Cup tournament in Qatar last year.

The 25-year-old frontman undergo surgery on his right-leg and since successful of operations, he has been working hard in aiming of return to action for Mikel Arteta's side.

However, after couple of months, the Brazilian finally back to first-team training session as he appeared at London Colney on Wednesday with the rest of Mikel Arteta squad.

Jesus involved in full training session and he expected to back into action as soon as possible after showcased series of impressive display during Wednesday's training session at London Colney.

The Brazilian is not expected to involved in Thursday's Europa League round of 16 first-leg ties against Sporting CP, but is likely to back into action before international break.

Emile Smith-Rowe, also involved in training session while Thomas Partey, Bukayo Saka, Reiss Nelson, Ben White, Gabriel Martinelli, Gabriel, Granit Xhaka and Jorginho also take part in Wednesday's training session.

Kieran Tierney, Eddie Nketiah and Trossard are in take part in Wednesday's training session as pair continue recovery from respectively injury problem.
